The cricket world is praising Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan for their 203-run partnership in the second T20I against England.

The two were at their best and stamped authority over the visitors to level the series 1-1.

Babar hit an unbeaten 110 runs off 66 balls with the help of 11 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Rizwan scored 88 not out, laced with 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Former India player and one of the leading commentators, Aakash Chopra, feels Rizwan is more important than his opening partner in the Powerplay Overs.

“Watching highlights of last night’s stellar run-chase by Pak…while there’s no argument about who’s more skillful between Babar and Rizwan, I strongly feel that it’s the latter who’s more important in their partnership. Especially in the PP overs. Thoughts/observations welcome,” he wrote.
