The banter between Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer has been hogging the limelight for the last few years. The two never miss a chance to score points over each other whenever India and England are in action.

In the concluded fifth Test between the countries, the former England skipper has the last laugh over Jaffer as the host nation defeated India by 7 wickets to level the series 2-2.

Wasim, who had a reason to smile as the visitors dominated the game for three days, lost his voice after the Ben Stokes-led team staged a sensational comeback on Day 4.

Vaughan took to Twitter to check on his favourite Twitter rival Jaffer. “Just checking are ok @WasimJaffer14,” he wrote.

Chasing 378 runs to win, England lost three quick wickets after a century-stand between the two openers. However, Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow slammed centuries to keep the rivals at bay. Riding on luck, they played the best innings of their careers in Test cricket.
