India batters have been slamming Kiwis bowlers for runs in the ongoing three-match ODI series. After scoring above 300 in the first game, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill showed their class in the second contest as well.
Meanwhile, former England player Michael Vaughan has declared India as one of the favourites for the 2023 ODI World Cup. Earlier, he had slammed the Men in Blue for their conservative approach in white-ball cricket.
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have added more than 100 runs in 13 overs in the third and final match. Sharma and Gill have completed their respective fifties.
“India finally committing to playing One day cricket the aggressive way makes them Red hot favourites to win the men’s World Cup this year,” he wrote.
While India won the first game by 12 runs, they registered a victory by 8 wickets in the next.
