KL Rahul said they should have wrapped things up a little earlier.

India defeated Zimbabwe in the third ODI, but the win was not easy as Sikandar Raza almost took the hosts to an unlikely victory over the Men in Blue.

The visitors scored 289 in the first innings riding on the first international century from Shubman Gill.

Zimbabwe took things pretty close as Sikandar Raza scored a century, but it failed as India registered a win by 13 runs to whitewash the rivals 3-0.

Following India’s series win, stand-in captain KL Rahul said they should have wrapped things up a little earlier. “Feels good. We wanted to win over here, and we did it. However, we allowed the game to get closer instead of finishing it early. The bowlers were tested,’ he said.
