Jasprit Bumrah IND vs SL ODI series
Many fans wrote that he is returning to practice for Mumbai Indians for the Indian Premier League 2023.

Jasprit Bumrah has given a befitting reply to critics who accused him of favouring Mumbai Indians over India.

The speedster was recently ruled out of the ICC T20 World Cup after suffering a back injury.

The 28-year-old returned to the squad for the Australia series but played just two games. He was withdrawn from the South Africa T20Is after experiencing pain in his back before the first game.

In 2022, Bumrah represented India in 15 matches across formats, while he has been playing all the matches for Mumbai Indians since 2016.

Now, the India pacer has posted a cryptic message for his critics. Bumrah quoted Winston Churchill, saying:

After being ruled out of the T20 World Cup, Bumrah took to social media and wrote: “I am gutted that I won’t be a part of the T20 World Cup this time, but thankful for the wishes, care and support I’ve received from my loved ones. As I recover, I’ll be cheering on the team through their campaign in Australia,” said Bumrah.
