Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav were Team India's heroes in the third and final T20I against Australia in Hyderabad.

Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has lauded Virat Kohli after his unbeaten 59 against Hong Kong in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. He scored 35 against Pakistan and carried his form to the next game. The Pakistan legend said he was confident that Kohli would hit runs.

“I like how he scored 35 against Pakistan and a half-century against Hong Kong. He was sure of returning to form. He is recovering from a lean patch, which is good news for India,’ said Inzamam.

Inzamam was surprised to see a player of Virat’s stature took so much time to get back to scoring ways. He said that players find form in a series or two.

“He is coming back to form. All players go through a lean patch but come back to form in a month or two or a couple of series. It is the first time such a great player took a long time and could not score a century in more than 1000 days.”
