Rashid Khan refused to name a favourite team for the final of the ICC World Cup 2023. India are set to take on Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19.

Rashid was the newest guest on Club Prairie Fire. He was asked to pick a team that has got a better chance of winning the mega game.

“India are unbeaten in 10 matches and they have played exceptional cricket. Australia won their last eight games. It is fifty-fifty and any team can win on a given day. It is tough to pick a clear favourite. India will be under pressure in front of more than 1 lakh people. Things will not be easy for Australia as well,” he said.

Rashid also spoke about Afghanistan’s performance in the tournament.

“We are proud as a nation. Our confidence went up after beating England and we won four matches. The tournament gave us belief that we can beat any team. We could have made it to the semis but Glenn Maxwell’s drop catch cost us the game. He didn’t us any chance after reaching fifty,” he added.
