Former India player and one of the greatest all-rounders in white-ball cricket, Yuvraj Singh, is worried about the 50-over format. While congratulating Shubman Gill for his fifty in the third ODI against Sri Lanka, he wrote about the empty seats as well.

“Well played @ShubmanGill hopefully goes on to make a 100. @imVkohli batting at the other end looking Solid ! But concern for me half empty stadium ? Is one day cricket dying ?” he wrote.

His former teammate Irfan Pathan reacted to his tweet and urged the veteran to come out of retirement to bring the fans back to the stadium.

“Bhai pads pehan lo. Aajegi jantaaa,” he wrote.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first to take full advantage of the dry pitch. Hardik Pandya and Umran Malik were not included in the side with Suryakumar Yadav and Washington Sundar replacing them.

The Men in Blue are 2-0 ahead in the ongoing series.
