Kolkata Knight Riders have appointment Ranji Trophy winning coach Chandrakant Pandit as the head of their support staff. Pandit led Madhya Pradesh to a Ranji win in the last season and was lauded for his efforts.
The two-time champions were looking for a head coach after Brendon McCullum left the post following his appointment as England’s Test team coach.
Meanwhile, after MP’s emphatic win in the final, former India player Irfan Pathan had written about offering a contract to one of the best coaching in India.

Reacting to his tweet after almost two months, Venky Mysore, the CEO of KKR, wrote – “We were listening to you Irfan Bhai.”
Irfan gave a hilarious reply. “Haha Venky bhai. Wishing you and Chandu bhai all the luck. I’m sending you my bank details.”
