Virat Kohli is one of the best batters in modern-day cricket, with 75 international hundreds coming from his bat. Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar is a big fan of the Indian player and has lauded him for his match-winning knocks.
He urged Virat to keep playing till 43 years of age and score 110 hundreds in his career. Shoaib said Kohli is the most important player for the team, and India will play him in a wheelchair if required.
“Virat has his own importance and should continue playing till 43 years. India will play him in a wheelchair if required. He has the potential to score 110 hundreds and shouldn’t stop before reaching the task,” said Shoaib Akhtar.
Virat is playing in the ongoing ODI series against Australia. He hasn’t been good with the bat so far, failing to register a single half-century.
After the games against Steve Smith’s team, the veteran will join Royal Challengers Bangalore for the Indian Premier League 2023.
