India will play a four-match Test series against Australia, with the opening game starting on February 9 in Nagpur. The visitors have a strong, and their bowlers can trouble the Rohit Sharma-led team.

India are without Jasprit Bumrah for the first two Tests due to his back injury. He played in September last year and missed the Asia Cup 2022, ICC T20 World and home series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand.

Former India player Sanjay Bangar thinks the home team will not miss Bumrah in the opening contest.

“Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav will play in Nagpur. Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj have been excellent, and they will not let the team miss Jasprit Bumrah,” he said.
