Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan slammed India, calling it the most under-performing team in white-ball history after a humiliating 10-wicket defeat against England in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup.

India, who were favourites to reac the finals, were taught a lesson by the Jos Buttler-led team at the Adelaide Oval.

“They haven’t done anything since winning the 50-over World Cup in 2011. India are playing the outdated brand of white-ball for years.”

“India are the most under-performing white-ball team in history. Every player in the world who goes to the Indian Premier League says how it improves their game but what about the Indian players,” Vaughan said in his column for The Telegraph.

“I am surprised by how they play T20 cricket. They have the players but the process is not right.”

He further questioned Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid for not playing Yuzvendra Chahal in any game of the World Cup.
