Babar Azam Biography

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has said that he is focusing on the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand instead of the outside noise.

He is also hoping to see a better performance from his players in white-ball cricket.

The three-match series is important for the Men in Green considering the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.

Babar wants to win matches for the Pakistan national cricket team. He also stated that the management is on the same page.

“My job is to play and perform for the country. I know about my responsibilities as a captain and a batter. I don’t want to please anyone. We will try to continue our good form in one-day internationals,” he said.

“New Zealand are one of the best sides in limited-overs cricket. The captain, coach, and chief selector are together. We informed the selection committee about our views,” he added.

Babar, who is the No.1 ranked batter in the 50-over format, scored 679 runs, including three centuries and five fifties, in nine games at an average of 84.87 in 2022.

  1. Amazing Information. I really enjoyed reading this article.
There is no doubt that Babar Azam is one of the greatest batsmen but he is not a good captain like Sarfraz Ahmad.
I think Babar should give a chance to Fakhar Zaman instead of Imam. And, also he should give the chance to Abrar Ahmad instead of Shadab and Usama.
    What do you think?
    Waiting for your response!
