Indian cricket hasn’t done justice to many legendary performers in domestic cricket.
They have been ignored by the selectors in the past, and the trend continues in the present as well.
Jalaj Saxena, who would have walked into any international team, hasn’t played for India despite his frequent match-winning performances in Ranji Trophy.
He is the only player in the history of cricket to remain uncapped even after taking 400+ wickets and scoring 6000+ plus runs in the premier domestic cricket.
Reacting to his snub, the 36-year-old hoped that wouldn’t remain uncapped for the entire career.
“Really grateful to cross 400+wickets and 6000+ runs mark. I hope I won’t remain uncapped forever. The dream is still alive,” he said.
