India spinner Ravi Ashwin has been dreaming about the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy. Speaking to the New Indian Express, Ashwin said he is looking forward to a four-match Test series. The spinner was in good form in the recently concluded two-match Test series in Bangladesh. He performed with the bat and ball in the series.

“I have been dreaming about the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. I have started my training and have been religiously doing yoga over the last year or so. My batting has improved in the last 18 months. I put in a lot of work whenever a home series happens,” Ashwin said about his preparation.

India are currently without Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah. However, two of those players are expected to come back.

“I am expecting to see Ravindra Jadeja return for the series. I have planned something for the Aussies. I am working on some different angles,” he added.

Asked about Australia, Ashwin said that he expects a tough fight from the visitors as they have done well in the past.
