New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra is one of the finds of the ICC World Cup 2023, as the 23-year-old has scored 565 runs in nine games and is the 2nd leading run-getter in this tournament.
Rachin’s performance has also acted as an audition for the upcoming IPL season, where Ravindra will be one of the in-demand players in the auction, which is set to take place on December 19 in Dubai.

Former India opener Robin Uthappa believes that Rachin Ravindra will be a hot property in the upcoming Indian Premier League auction. During the ongoing 2023 World Cup, many IPL franchises must have taken notice of the talented youngster’s impressive performances, according to Uthappa.
Appearing on his YouTube channel, Uthappa stated that Rachin would emerge as one of the highest-paid players in the auctions.
“It’s hard not to take notice when a young cricketer performs exceptionally well against India, just like Rachin Ravindra did. Doing well against India can also get you noticed by Indian Premier League franchises. I am confident that Rachin will be highly sought after at the auction and will be picked up by a top team for a considerable sum. With his good looks, he also has the potential to be a marketable player.”
