Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar has said that Suryakumar Yadav’s technique is not right in one-day internationals. The batter recorded his second consecutive golden duck in th 50-over format of the game. He was dismissed for the second time by Mitchell Starc.
The hosts were bowled out for 117 and lost the game by 10 wickets. SKY has been sensational in T20Is but has managed just 433 runs in 20 ODI innings at an average of 25.47 and has scored only two fifties.
Speaking to Star Sports, Gavaskar said Suryakumar is facing technical difficulties in ODIs.
“He is facing technical difficulties in one-day internationals. He is good in T20Is but if the ball is pitched up and swings, SKY is bound to get LBW in one-day games. He has an open stance and will face difficulty. He needs to spend time with the batting coach on how to come out of this,” said Gavaskar.
