India have been blessed with world class batters in international cricket. Shubman Gill looks set to represent India across formats. The right-handed batter is currently playing for Glamorgan in the English County Circuit.

In his first match of the season against Worcestershire, Gill was unbeaten on 34 off 46 balls, laced with 4 fours and a six on day 2.

Former cricketer and one of the best commentators currently, Alan Wilkins, was mighty pleased with Shubman.

“Just watched @ShubmanGill for 34 runs (not out) this afternoon in the gloom of a dull day. He is in a different class. Period,” he wrote on Twitter.

The 22-year-old has been signed for the last four matches of the season. Gill was the Man of the Series against the West Indies and Zimbabwe.

He was sensational in one-day internationals and also scored his maiden century in Zimbabwe. Gill is the future of the Indian cricket, with many lauding him for his maturity.
