India won all three ODIs in Zimbabwe, but not everyone is convinced that the Men in Blue achieved all their goals. Having won all the toss, India have the opportunity to give batters 150 overs to bat, but the stand-in captain KL Rahul only chose to bat in 1 of the 3 ODIs.
Some former cricketers and fans feel the visitors had a chance to include Rahul Tripathi and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the Playing XI. Even Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson didn’t bat for many overs.
Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja feels KL Rahul made a big mistake by opting to bowl in the first two games.
“KL Rahul didn’t get a chance to bat for a long duration of time and he should blame himself. He should haved batted first after winning the toss but he had other plans,” Jadeja said in a chat on Sony Sports Network.
