Danish Kaneria said that Hasan Ali was included in the team and the playing XI for the second Test against New Zealand due to his friendship with captain Babar Azam.
He says Ali doesn’t deserve to play for the Pakistan national cricket team. Kaneria claimed that the management wrongly dropped Mohammad Wasim Jr to please Babar.
“Hasan Ali didn’t deserve to be a part of the team for the second Test. Mohammad Wasim Jr was dropped to include Hasan in the team. He is a good friend of captain Babar Azam. Who is taking all such decisions?” he said.
Danish Kaneria further said that Pakistan were afraid of Kiwi spinners and didn’t prepare a spinning track for the ongoing contest.
The 42-year-old emphasized that the Pakistani batters struggle against all kinds of bowlers even while playing in their own backyard.
