Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf said he learned a lot from the ICC T20 World Cup after the hius team lost the final to England by 5 wickets at MCG.
The Men in Green tried their best in a low-scoring finale, but Ben Stokes took the team to their second T20 World Cup title.
“We played well as individuals and as a team. I learned a lot from this World Cup in Australia,”‘ Rauf said in a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Rauf dismissed Jos Buttler and Phil Salt in the title game. He added that a win over New Zealand in the tournament’s semi-final gave them confidence.
“We had ups and downs. We had to counter different conditions and situations. After losing two matches, we hoped we could reach the final, but unfortunately, we lost,”‘ he said.
“We back and believe in each other. Babar was good as a captain, and his talks gave us confidence. We played as a team and were supported by fans throughout the World Cup. Thank you so much.”
