Former Pakistan great Inzamam-ul-Haq has made a big statement on Harbhajan Singh. In a video shared by one of the Twitter users, Inzamam is seen speaking about the Islamic prayers and the Indian players.
Mullah Tariq Jameel used to lead the Pakistani players into one prayer a day during India’s tour of Pakistan.
“We had a room where prayers were conducted. Mullah Tariq Jameel used to visit us in the evening and lead us into a namaz. After a few days, Irfan Pathan, Mohammad Kaif and Zaheer Khan also started coming. ” Four other Indian cricketers sat and watched us,” he said.
Inzy then talked about Harbhajan and his conversation with him.
“Harbhajan, who was unaware that Tariq Jameel was a maulana, said that ‘I am impressed with this man and wants to follow his words’. When I asked him why don’t you follow him, he said that after looking at you, I don’t get convinced,” he added.
