Graeme Swann has labelled Yuzvendra Chahal as the best spinner in the world at the moment in the world at the moment.

He took two wickets and conceded just 32 runs in four overs in the first T20I against England at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on Thursday, July 7.

His spell played an important role in India’s victory by 50 runs. During a discussion on Sony Sports, Swann was asked about Chahal’s performance with the ball.

“He is the best spinner in the world at the moment. I keep saying that. In T20 cricket, he is ahead of everyone.”

The legendary spinner highlighted the success Chahal has enjoyed. “He has done it in conditions impacted by dew. I watched him at the DY Patil Stadium in the IPL. He was bowling with full control despite wet outfield.”

According to Swann, Chahal was expected to deliver for the visitors in the opening game.
