Hong Kong won the toss and elected to field against Pakistan in a must-win match at the Asia Cup on Friday.

The winner will join India in advancing to the Super 4 stage from Group A.

Hong Kong reached the Asia Cup by beating the United Arab Emirates in the qualifiers in Oman. 

The 20th-ranked Hong Kong retained the same playing XI that lost by 40 runs to India in its first group match.

Pakistan also named an unchanged team after India handed its subcontinent archrival a five-wicket defeat in the first group game at Dubai.

Afghanistan and Sri Lanka qualified for the Super 4 from Group B.
