Rohit Sharma is confident India has learned from its dismal ICC T20 World Cup campaign last year.

Rohit Sharma led India in four T20Is against the West Indies. He was rested from the fifth and the final match to manage his workload. Hardik Pandya led the Men in Blue in his absence.

Even KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have captained the national team when Rohit has missed out due to injuries.

Former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel feels Pant and Rahul are ‘work in progress’ for the captaincy role, alongside Hardik, who showed his class while leading Gujarat Titans to maiden IPL title.

“Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul are ‘work in progress’ as captains. Their captaincy has improved and they, along with Hardik, are the three contenders, who will replace Rohit Sharma as India’s next captain,” said Parthiv.
