Former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja has slammed the Sourav Ganguly-led BCCI for its decision to send Arshdeep Singh to the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore for “conditioning-related work.”
The young pacer is not a part of the ongoing three-match T20I series between India and Australia. He will be a part of the South Africa T20I series. Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will miss the games against the Proteas as the two will head to NCA.
“First Bumrah was not available as he was at NCA for his rehab and now Arshdeep Singh has gone to the same place. I don’t know what is happening in Bangalore. How can there be a setup in the country, which is not there with the Indian team?”
Jadeja said that the best fitness specialists should be with the squad.
“The best physios or your trainers should travel with Team India. Something is happening in Bangalore which I cannot understand.”
