Axar Patel IND vs AUS 4th Test
He claimed that Indian tweakers bowled short in the first innings of the Indore Test.

Ajay Jadeja feels it is challenging to pick one between Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja as the left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder in the Test side.

Ravindra Jadeja is currently out of the team due to a knee injury and is not a part of India’s squad for the ongoing two-match series against Bangladesh.

Axar took five wickets across the two innings in the first Test, which India won by 188 runs.

“All players are good. Axar Patel’s numbers are mind-blowing. He has an average of 12 in India and even Ashwin doesn’t have that and no bowler has it in India,” he said to Sony Sports.

He said that both Axar and Jadeja are similar players. “It is not easy to chose one between the two. Both have smae skill set. They beat the batters from the surface,” he added.

Axar Patel has scalped 44 wickets at an average of 13.00 in the seven Tests. He has an average of 12.43 in six home Tests.
