England all-rounder Ben Stokes has said that Suryakumar and his shots can sometimes leave you scratching your head. India are set to lock horns with England in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Adelaide Oval.
Speaking ahead of the semi-final, Stokes said Suryakumar is in the form of his life and is playing sensational cricket.
“Suryakumar has set the stage on fire. He is in great form with the bat, but hopefully, the England team will shut him down,” he said.
Stokes said they would have to perform against a strong Indian side. “We are in the semis despite not playing our best cricket. But we know we have a very strong India side coming up in the semi-final, and we can’t take them lightly.”
