Dinesh Karthik is one of the fittest cricketers in the world. Despite being at the fag end of his career, he is fast between the wickets.
Basu Shanker, the strength and conditioning coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore, recently spoke about Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik’s fitness.
He revealed that Virat once gave Dinesh Karthik’s example when it comes to fitness.
“People are always impressed with visual fitness. However, athletic fitness is very different. Virat Kohli is fit and powerful. But look at Dinesh Karthik’s performance on the field. He never gets injured and loses any time. He is Ryan Giggs of cricket,” he said.
Karthik will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League 2023.
