Meg Lanning’s decision to bat first against Mumbai Indians backfired as her team was bowled out for 105 in 18 overs.

DC were unbeaten in the tournament before meeting the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team. Captain Lanning scored 43 off 41 balls, while Jemimah Rodrigues managed 25.

For Mumbai, Saika Ishaque, Issy Wong and Amelia Kerr took three wickets each.
