For captains, it is a crime to bowl a no-ball in the Indian Premier League, as it disturbs the momentum of the bowling team.
Former South Africa player Imran Tahir said that bowling no-balls is like committing suicide, and many bowlers are doing it in IPL 2023.
He remarked that after Kagiso Radaba delivered an extra ball, which was hit for a four by Kyle Mayers.
“Bowling a no-ball is like committing suicide, and the bowlers are doing it in the 16th season of the tournament. You can’t cross the crease at this level of the game, as it proves costly for the team. Any bowler facing this issue could work hard on solving it in the net session,” he said.
Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and invited LSG to bat first in Mohali.
