Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed is confident of his team’s success against Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup. He is also thinking about Bangladesh’s passage to the tournament’s semis.
However, the situation is not in favor of the Tigers. India are ahead of them, and if they lose to Zimbabwe and Bangladesh beat Pakistan, the Shakib Al Hasan-led will make it to the last four.
Taskin feels miracles happen and matches could go in their favor.
“Pakistan is a good team, but we can beat them if we play good cricket. We are learning and playing better cricket than before. We haven’t become a good team in T20Is, but we are working toward our goal,” he said.
“If you look at our group, most games went to the wire. Even now, anything can happen. There can be miracles, and we can play in the semi-finals of the World Cup. We will play with the idea of winning the game. Our main target is to win the next game,” he added.
