On Monday, January 16, Babar Azam landed in fresh trouble as a verified Twitter user leaked Azam’s intimate chats and videos online.
The fans were stunned to see Babar got caught in an alleged honeytrap, but most of his well-wishers came to defend the 28-year-old and trended on Twitter, where they termed the recent moves as a strategy to defame Babar Azam.
While the video’s authenticity remains unverified, the incident hogged the internet, but the Pakistani skipper maintained his silence.
However, in the latest developments, Babar has finally broken his silence and posted his first tweet since the news went viral.
He took to Twitter and Instagram, where he posted his photo with a one-line caption. “Doesn’t take too much to be happy,” read Babar’s tweet.
The fans and several verified Twitter users reacted to the post and extended their support to Babar.
It is not the first time that Babar has been at the helm of such a situation. In 2020, a lady accused Babar of sexually assaulting her but later admitted to her wrongdoings and withdrew the complaint in 2021.
Besides this, the Pakistani skipper is also rumoured to be in a rift with the PCB, as the apex board of Pakistan is planning to sack Azam from Test and ODI captaincy, owing to the poor results.
