Pakistan coach Saqlain Mushtaq has opined on Virat Kohli vs Babar Azam’s debate, saying Babar is a better batter than the former India captain. However, Kohli is close to his heart.
The Kohli-Babar debate has been going on for a long time, with cricket experts and the fans being usually divided.
Speaking to Sportskeeda cricket, Mushtaq was asked his opinion on both players. The legendary spinner said that he would go with Babar, but Kohli is a player who is close to his heart.
“Definitely Babar kahunga… but Virat mere dil ke bohot karib hai,” said Saqlain Mushtaq.
Recently, Sanath Jayasuriya was also asked to pick one between the two. “I like Virat Kohli. He is my favorite player and also my son’s favorite player too,” said Jayasuriya.
