Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the Indian bowlers against Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup. Playing his first World Cup match, he didn’t let Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan settle down.
He achieved a world record in the shortest format of the game. Babar was trapped in front of the wicket, and despite taking a review, the Pakistan captain was declared out.
Rizwan, Pakistan’s best batter over the last year, was caught in the deep on Arshdeep’s bouncer.
Meanwhile, the young Indian pacer is the first bowler to dismiss both Pakistan openers Babar and Rizwan at single-digit scores in the same innings.
