Unmukt Chand, on November 23, became the first Indian cricketer to participate in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The Chattogram Challengers picked the right-handed batter in the players’ draft for BPL 2023.
The 29-year-old, who is currently playing in the United States of America (USA), said the BPL is one of the most popular T20 leagues in the world.
Last year, Chand became the first Indian cricketer to participate in the Big Bash League (BBL) after playing for Melbourne Renegades.
He retired from Indian cricket in 2021 to pursue his career in the USA. In 2012, he led India to the U19 World Cup trophy.
