Steve Smith scored a stunning hundred in the first innings of the World Test Championship final against India at the Oval. The second innings was not good for the legendary batter as he was dismissed while trying to go for the maximum against Ravindra Jadeja.
He scored 34 off 37 balls as Australia tried to accumulate quick runs to put India out of the game.
Smith was also miffed with an India fan behind the bowler’s arm. He was wearing a red t-shirt, which was distracting the batter. The umpire was seen pleading with the fan to move away. The spectator was removed from his place by security.
Many fans slammed the former Australia captain.
Australia are leading by 296 runs with 6 wickets in hand.
