Overview:
With Rohit and Kohli only playing the ODI format after taking retirement from Test and T20Is, there has been speculation about their future and their ability to remain in form.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were not included in the India A squad for the three-match ODI series against South Africa A. The series will feature several main players as they prepare for the ODI series against South Africa, which will take place from 30 November to 6 December.
There were reports of the two competing in India A matches to get match time. However, the selection panel was not in favour of the move. The BCCI hasn’t stated whether Virat and Rohit were approached for the three matches.

India will host New Zealand for three ODIs next year, and there is a chance that Kohli and Rohit will turn up for their domestic team in the domestic fifty-over tournament.
