Watch: Pat Cummins produces ‘best run out ever’ to dismiss Pujara

India's experienced no.3 batsman, Cheteshwar Pujara batted for almost all of today's play, coming to the crease at the end of the second over and getting out to a piece of brilliance in the field by Australia's lanky fast bowler, Pat Cummins on what turned out to be the last ball of the day.

Cummins got airborne, was off balance and had only one stump to aim but he unleashed a direct hit that left Pujara well short of his ground. It was a magical bit of fielding that too so late in the day that one can't stop praising the pacer enough. He had also sent down a good number of overs. Cummins had bowled as many as 19 overs in the 40-degree heat of Adelaide.

Here's the video of the fantastic bit of run-out:

The Australian great Adam Gilchrist was so impressed with the run-out that he termed it "the best run-out ever," while on-air.

It could have a big impact on the Test as Pujara was batting with all guns blazing after the dismissal of Ravi Ashwin. Pujara scored 123 runs off 246 deliveries and showcased an exemplary level of discipline and patience. He also batted aggressively with the tail and exhibited great skill-set.
