Virender Sehwag’s Tweet on Cheteshwar Pujara Will Be Remembered For A Long Time

Cheteshwar Pujara played one of the best innings of his career in the first innings of the fourth Test match against England. His gusty and patient hundred helped India to take a 27-run lead. At one stage, India were struggling but Pujara turned out to be the savior for his team.

Pujara and Kohli added a 92-run partnership before Kohli's dismissal. Later, Ben Stokes got better of Ajinkya Rahane. From here on, India were given meaty blows by rivals as they lost the track completely. They were in a danger of getting out before 200 but Pujara's vital partnership with Ishant Sharma and Jaspirt Bumrah saved the day for the side.

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag was delighted to see Pujara among runs and came up with a tweet. “There are some innings which give you a very different high. Pujara‘s innings was one of those innings, will be long remembered. Added 78 with Ishant and Bumrah. India will need to bowl really well now.”
