Virat is the most consistent Indian skipper ever, says Prince of Kolkata

Virat Kohli is enjoying the form of his life in the ongoing tour of South Africa. Be it Test matches or ODIs, he has been on his hunches, leading India to series win in one day internationals.

Sourav Ganguly is amused to see Virat Kohli’s contribution as skipper. He feels he is the best Indian captain ever, if his batting form is taken into account.

His century in the second Test match was one of his best knocks while Virat managed to bag three tons in the six-match ODI series, finishing as the highest run getter and walked away with Man of the Series trophy.

"Kohli is a flag bearer of Indian cricket. I have seen a lot of purple patches including mine, Dravid's and Sachin Tendulkar's. I genuinely believe that this is not just a purple patch for Kohli, this is genuine greatness."

"I have seen MS Dhoni as captain, I have seen Rahul Dravid as captain but I have never seen anyone perform this consistently with the bat as captain as Kohli has," Ganguly further added.
