Proper big dog is coming to County Cricket, Moeen Ali on Virat Kohli

Team India skipper Virat Kohli will embark on a new journey after the ongoing Indian Premier League . He will represent Surrey Cricket Club in English county, a place he has never been before in his cricketing career.

This is the first time Virat has decided to play in any of the domestic competitions with an intention to iron out his flaws before the Test series in England.

While some have criticized Virat Kohli for missing out the Test match against Afghanistan, others have welcomed his move.

Having played with him at Royal Challengers Bangalore, Moeen Ali is ecstatic at the prospect of seeing Virat donning domestic jersey in England.

He has termed Virat’s move as brilliant, praising him for his batting and captaincy.

“I know a few of the Surrey guys and they are not what people make them out to be a lot of the time. But if anyone in that dressing room does think they are a big dog, they will need to sit down for a little while because there is a proper big dog coming,” Moeen was quoted saying by The Guardian.

He is not the only one giving thumbs up to the skipper. Chris Woakes, who is playing for RCB along with Moeen Ali has said that Virat is passionate and an emotional person when he is on the field but his calmness and cool nature can win anyone’s heart off the field.

“There is a perception that Virat is hot headed as it appears to be when he leading any side. But, the guy is calm and down to earth when he is away from cricket ground,” said Woods.
