Kohli feels this youngster is "supremely talented"

He has been a talking point in the last few days. And why it wouldn't be like that? The 18-year old scored a well-made century in the series opener against West Indies to become the second youngest Test centurion for India. It is a no mean feat to do that, especially in a country, which is known for its prodigal batting talents.

When Shaw reached the three-figure mark, Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was one of the happiest in the dressing room. He was elated for the youngster, who had also slammed centuries in his debut Ranji and Duleep Trophy games.

On the eve of the second and final Test between India and West Indies, Kohli was quoted as saying, “We are all very happy for him but I don’t think we should compare him to anyone yet or we should put him in a space where he starts feeling pressure.”

The 29-year old warned people to leave him on his own so that he enjoys his game. “He should be left to enjoy his cricket and slowly grow into the cricketer that we all believe he can be.” He also called Prithvi "supremely talented."

India is presently taking on West Indies in the second Test match at Hyderabad. They won the first Test comprehensively and would now look to close the series on a high.
