Indian batsman clears Yo Yo Test, available for selection

He had a stellar Indian Premier League season and was soon drafted into India A squad, which was bound for England. However, his fans were left flabbergasted when he was axed on account of failing mandatory Yo Yo Test.

Sanju Samson, the young prodigy, is again making headlines but for a right cause this time. After his failure, he worked on his shortcomings and has now cleared the Yo Yo Test.

The right hand batsman scored a sensational 17.4, crossing the required margin of 16.1 by a long distance.

It’s a dream for every professional cricketer to represent country and Samson is no different. After crossing this hurdle, he is in the race for national call-up and selectors might look at him while picking Test team for a five-match Test series in England.
