India and Australia are the two toughest places to win, says Jos Buttler

Having seen England’s fate in the Ashes series, Jos Buttler, who is making light of bowling attacks in the ongoing Big Bash League, has picked India and Australia as the two toughest challenges for England in international cricket.

In the conversation with ECB, he said, “Coming here and going away to India are the two biggest challenges for us in the last few years. Massive challenges for us and exciting ones. The Australians became the world champions here at the MCG three years ago, so it will be a great test for us as a side.”

He is part of the team, which will take on Australia in the ODI series, however, winning in Aussie backyard will once again be tough for touring party. The English team has renowned match winners in shorter formats, players who can win matches from any position but Australia too has a balanced side, capable of upsetting England.

“We won’t be trying to change much with the way we play. You got to be smart and adaptable to the conditions and try to play the type of cricket we normally play,” he concluded.
