The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Maharashtra Police has arrested a man from Assam for sending an email to the governing body of India cricket threatening to kill Indian players.

The Mumbai ATS has launched a probe after receiving complaint from the BCCI. As per PTI, the man 19-year-old Braja Mohan Das, who hails from Shantipur, was arrested with the help of Assam Police.

He has sent the mail to other cricket boards as well. Das was located with the help of the IP address and has been sent in custody till Monday.

The Indian team led by Virat Kohli is in West Indies at the moment.

India will be looking to win the ongoing two-match Test series in order to start their World Test Championship campaign on a positive note.
