Aussie Star Cricketers To Skip IPL

Top Australian cricketers have decided to skip the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins are set to miss the cash rich league after they did not register their names for the auction.

Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins were bought for a lucrative fee in the IPL 2018 auction but did not turn up to play due to injuries. They were released by their respective franchises.

Aaron Finch, who was part of Kings XI Punjab, did not had a fruitful outing with his team, resulting in his ouster ahead of the auction.

Glenn Maxwell played almost all the matches for his IPL side Delhi Daredevils, but Maxwell’s flop show led to his release from the team.

The prime reason behind Australian players withdrawing from the tournament is the World Cup 2019.
