Asia Cup: Don't take India lightly, Faheem Ashraf Warns Pakistan

India and Pakistan clashes are one of the most watched among all cricketing rivalries. As we are getting closer to the first game between India and Pakistan, anticipation and excitement is reaching another level. India will take on Pakistan for the first time since the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy.

India will play against Pakistan in Asia Cup on September 19, 2018. India will miss their regular skipper, Virat Kohli in the tourney. But still Faheem Ashraf, the Pakistani all-rounder reckons, “We are working really hard to try and adapt to local conditions. Every player on the team dreams of playing against India and performing well, I hope I can also get this chance. India even without Virat Kohli is a world-class team and we cannot take them lightly. We are putting in our hundred percent, in all departments be it batting, bowling or fielding. Our job is to give our best and then we have every chance of winning.”

UAE is Pakistan's home ground. On that Ashraf said that “We play all our series here so it is an advantage for us, but this is a big event, and there is a lot of pressure and we will give our hundred percent to all matches.”

It will be a battle to remember for fans of both the nations as the South Asia neighbors battle it hard on the 22 yards.
