AB de Villiers set to feature in another T20 league

Former South African cricketer, AB de Villiers, who hung up his boots, a few months back , would now be joining another franchise-based T20 league. De Villiers has been on a spree when it comes to joining different T20 leagues across the globe. Apart from IPL, the explosive batsman is set to feature in Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Big Bash League (BBL) as well.

And now add Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to the list as well, if reports are to believed. As per reports in BD Crictime, the South African is in talks to join Rangpur Riders ahead of the sixth edition of the BPL. Rangpur Riders won the last edition of the Bangladesh Premier League. The team boasts names like Chris Gayle, Mashrafe Mortaza, Nazmul Islam, and Mohammad Mithun in their side.

AB de Villiers was in sublime touch when he last played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. AB announced his retirement from international cricket in May, earlier, this year. He had said, "I’ve had my turn and to be honest I’m tired."

But his fans must be very happy given the fact that they would get to see the genius at work even after retirement, albeit in domestic cricket only.
