AB de Villiers is a match winner

Former Proteas cricketer, Lance Klusener has backed AB de Villiers. There are much speculation about the poor form of the current South African cricketer but Klusener has dismissed all the concern surrounding the player. He has stated that AB is still a match winner, who can contributed for many more years in international cricket. AB de Villiers has not played Test cricket since long and might end up hanging his boots from the longest format of the game to concentrate on shorter formats. He has expressed his willingness to represent South Africa in the fifty over World Cup in 2019. According to Lance Klusener, AB is a champion player, who can achieve whatever he wants.

“I feel de Villiers still has a lot of cricket left in him. He’s right up there with the best in the world. All players go through lean patches no matter how good they are. You have to remember that he is not playing much Test cricket now. So, the volume of cricket he’s playing is not as much as it used to be. Sometimes, that can lead to you taking your eye off the ball in terms of preparation and that is the adjustment he needs to make.”
